Custom-made pistons and connecting rods

In addition to our range of standard sizes of pistons and connecting rods, we also supply customised parts for these components. Wilmink Performance works together with CP-Carrillo on a service for delivering custom-made pistons and connecting rods.

Pistons
Developing and producing fitting pistons is a painstaking task. The engineering department begins by collecting and analysing all kinds of data based on wishes and requirements for the pistons. A piston in a drag race car has to perform differently from a piston in an American vintage car.

CP-Carrillo can produce new pistons from existing ones. These can generally be copied exactly as the existing pistons look. Of course it is also possible to have adjustments made. Dozens of options are possible, from larger bores to different cut-outs for valves or various types of coatings.

Connecting rods
In addition to customised pistons, customised connecting rods are also an option. Different sizes, thicknesses and other various adjustments can be made to for example oil grooves, cams or inscriptions on the connecting rod. In addition to connecting rods made of a mix of steels, connecting rods can also be made of aluminium. These connecting rods are lighter, stronger and have various custom options.
